Black, white, ocre, 13 years of painting…this is me. When i majored in Graphic design i found myself intrigued with colors, their vibrance, their meaning and how they change when mixed with other colors. Inspired by two amazing artists, Matisse and Jackson Pollock i started exploring the world of painting. I held my brush and with no control over it, i started letting it go free on the canvas, and there i discovered my passion for it.
Marriage, and 2 kids down the line, that passion is still growing, becoming more of an escape from my reality, into a world where it’s only me, the brush, and that blank canvas, onto which i can pour my thoughts, mood, and feelings. When i paint, I let music take me to where i want to go, whether it’s celine dion when i’m in a calm mood, or the queen of pop madonna when i just want to go crazy.
